Oh, the delight of the Fuchsia plant with the "inverted" umbrella like flowers, their shower of stamen in the arresting color combination of fuchsia and a violet-purple. The Fuchsia plant seems a natural for a hanging basket and we are offering 10" diameter baskets with young plants for the start of the season. Fuchsia enjoy shady locations to indirect sunlight. The plants require a light watering weekly but do not over-water as this may lead to root rot. The best way to "know" if a hanging basket needs watering is if when you pick-up the basket it feels light. Fertilizing the plants regularly - twice a month is recommended to get the best from the plant in the way of blooms.
