We all know pineapples as harvested fruit, but here is an actual Pineapple Plant. The plant is maturing and is perhaps in early mature stages with a young fruit. It usually takes 2 years to reach this stage in growth. Care is straightforward... warm temperatures - keep only inside in our area except in the height of summer - of between 65-95F. Light watering only. Presented in three versions: plastic grow pot; basket pot cover; ceramic pot cover. We do NOT recommend consuming, certainly with fruit at this immature stage.
